What is the job role?

As a Basecamp Assistant at SunGod's Basecamp London store, you'll be a key part of the team, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the store and delivering outstanding customer experiences. This hands-on role will see you actively engaging with customers, turning conversations into sales, and ensuring the store is always looking its best. You'll work closely with your team and the management, contributing to a positive and energetic store environment, while also getting involved in community events and driving footfall into the store.

Core Responsibilities:

✔ Assist all customers on the shop floor, delivering exceptional customer experiences, surprising and delighting at every touch point from welcoming them to serving a coffee as they customise products.

✔ Drive sales and maximise conversion rate, whilst upholding the SunGod customer-first reputation throughout every customer interaction.

✔ Contribute to maintaining a visually appealing store that reflects SunGod's brand values.

✔ Collaborate with the managers and the team to drive in-store and online engagement, including the Store’s social media and Community activations.

✔ Support the Management with store operations, including inventory management, and sales tracking.

✔ Understand SunGod’s triple bottom line of people, planet, and profit, and incorporate this into your job role every day.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal person has the following skills, experiences, and competencies:

✔ Exceptional customer service skills, with a track record of delivering outstanding front-of-house experiences.

✔ Previous experience in a customer-facing environment.

✔ Hands-on experience in events, marketing, and social media preferable

✔ A passion for the performance sports and outdoor industries is a key part of succeeding in this role.

✔ Enthusiasm for SunGod's mission and values, with a proactive and positive desire to promote the brand.
