What is the job role?

As the Operations Coordinator at SunGod, you will take ownership of our fulfilment and outbound logistics ecosystem, ensuring seamless execution across eCommerce, retail, and wholesale channels. You will be the primary operational lead for 3PL performance, outbound shipping, wholesale logistics, and carrier relationships, ensuring orders are delivered on time, in full, and in line with SunGod’s premium customer experience standards.

This is a highly collaborative and impact-driven role for a proactive individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys solving complex logistical challenges. You will play a central role in scaling operational processes as new partners and accounts are onboarded, maintaining system accuracy, and driving continuous improvement across our supply chain.

You will report directly to the Operations Manager and work closely with Commercial, Finance, Customer Experience, and external partners to deliver operational excellence, while embedding SunGod’s triple bottom line of people, planet, and profit into daily decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Fulfilment & 3PL Management

✔ Own the day-to-day relationship with SunGod’s 3PL partner, ensuring smooth execution of eCommerce, retail, and wholesale fulfilment.

✔ Monitor 3PL performance against SLAs, proactively identifying and resolving fulfilment or operational bottlenecks.

✔ Lead stock takes, operational reviews, and continuous performance optimisation with the 3PL.

✔ Ensure accurate intake, storage, and outbound handling of inventory across all channels.

✔ Coordinate priority shipments, bulk orders, and gifting requirements.

Outbound Shipping & Carrier Management

✔ Take ownership of outbound shipping strategy and execution across all markets.

✔ Manage relationships with carrier partners to ensure competitive rates, service reliability, and strong communication.

✔ Monitor on-time-in-full (OTIF) performance and delivery KPIs, resolving escalations where required.

✔ Proactively troubleshoot last-mile delivery issues in collaboration with the Customer Experience team.

✔ Continuously review and optimise shipping routes, costs, and service levels.

Wholesale Logistics

✔ Lead operational coordination for wholesale and retail outbound logistics.

✔ Ensure Purchase Orders are accurately processed, fulfilled, and delivered in line with partner requirements.

✔ Act as the key logistics contact for wholesale partners, resolving delivery and operational challenges.

✔ Coordinate cross-functionally with Commercial and Finance teams to ensure smooth order processing and invoicing alignment.

✔ Support scalable logistics processes as new distributors and retail partners are onboarded.

Inventory & Systems Management

✔ Monitor stock levels across channels, anticipating shortages and coordinating replenishment to minimise disruption.

✔ Maintain high levels of stock accuracy across systems and warehouse operations.

✔ Manage and maintain operational systems, ensuring data integrity across inventory, orders, carriers, and partners.

✔ Produce regular reporting on fulfilment, stock, and shipping performance metrics.

Cross-Team Collaboration

✔ Act as the operational bridge between Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Customer Experience.

✔ Provide clear updates on stock status, fulfilment timelines, and delivery performance.

✔ Support resolution of order queries and delivery challenges with speed and accountability.

Continuous Improvement & Growth

✔ Maintain accurate operational reporting across fulfilment, inventory, and shipping performance.

✔ Identify and implement operational improvements that increase efficiency, scalability, and cost effectiveness.

✔ Support the development of scalable fulfilment and logistics processes as SunGod continues to grow globally.

✔ Embed SunGod’s commitment to people, planet, and profit into all operational decision-making.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal person has the following skills, experiences and competencies:

✔ 2–3 years’ experience in an operations or supply chain role, ideally in a fast-paced environment
✔ Experience working with customised products in an e-commerce setting

✔ Proven experience managing 3PL partners, including fulfilment performance and stock flow

✔ Confident coordinating suppliers and resolving operational issues proactively

✔ Tech-savvy with strong systems experience and a curiosity for improving processes

✔ Experience using tools such as Asana, Airtable, Shopify or similar platforms

✔ Highly organised, detail-oriented and solutions-focused

✔ Strong communicator who can keep cross-functional teams aligned
✔ Passion for sports and the outdoor industry
